What if the greatest constraint in American education isn’t a lack of funding, standards
or effort – but is a hidden flaw in how we measure and motivate learning?
In this revolutionary keynote, Dr. Lyle “Lee” Jenkins, a recognized authority in improving
educational outcomes and a multi-talented author, invites audiences on an eye-opening
journey. Plan on this journey to not only uncover the constraint that has held back
education for decades, but to replace it—with a framework so powerful, it reawakens
the very joy of learning that every kindergartner instinctively carries.
With humor, hope and heart, Dr. Jenkins draws from decades of hands-on experience to
illuminate the joyful learning journey all parents desire for their children.
A. Hands-on, interactive, working together to re-design the weekly flow of classroom
learning to include creativity, choice, and simple student engagement processes that
accelerate learning.
B. Partnering with the re-design is the partner teaching sequence of wonder, resilience
and mastery – The Learning Trifecta. Details included in both a 10-minute video and
the article published for “Education Today” in Australia.
C. Early childhood foundation for Learning That Lasts delivered with ah-ha’s. Writing
becomes the favorite for both students and staff, number sense is solid for years to
come and activities that partner with any reading program.
D. Grade 3 Reading is a national focus. This workshop outlines how to ensure students
enter grade three with knowledge of K,1, and 2 site words and fluency is around 60
WPM or higher. When some children are unsuccessful with reading using the school’s
phonics program, we explore alternative approaches so all students are competent
readers.

"Learning That Lasts is my motto."
If you want exceptional learning for all K-12 students, then I have a simple design structure that changes everything from teach/inspect to learn/celebrate. We create amazing year-long journeys for students that maintain the kindergarten level of learning joy, and the research from over 300 K-12 classrooms in multiple states shows our structure has 5.9 times the average influence upon learning.
Lyle "Lee" Jenkins has been an education innovator for decades, which led to the publication of over 50 books and speaking engagements in most USA states, Canada and ten other countries. He served as a teacher, site and district administrator and school district superintendent.

"Well crafted and thought out. This is a brilliant way of discussing learning. Your passion for education is so evident; it was a pleasure to hear you."
"Lee, thank you for the call to wonder! I have been in education for 25 years and teachers and students have lost their wonder. So grateful for your inspiring work!"
" The simplicity of the square root visualizing was my best AH-HA."
